We all can agree, homework makes you find random things to do just to avoid doing it.

1. Take a nap

We can all agree naps are pretty awesome. When studying I tend to fall asleep anyways.


2. Listen to my favorite song for the 10th time

Music I can listen to while doing work, but when my jam comes on, school will have to wait.


3. Watch my favorite SpongeBob episode

Since I can remember, I have always watched SpongeBob before school work.


4. Reenact my favorite SpongeBob episode

Who doesn't love to act like SpongeBob once and awhile?

YIKES Am I the only one who found this episode disturbing?

5. Dance to "The Office" theme song

Don't look at me like that! You know it's catchy...


6. Hug a sloth

Who am I kidding, I always want to hug a sloth!

7. Box a kangaroo

Actually, I may take this one back..

8. Read the Harry Potter series!

I mean it is a great series (even though I have only read two of them and they weren't in the right order)

9. Adopt 30 dogs

Peter is me when I am around puppies!

10. Eat breakfast

Ron Swanson Said It Best - "And I mean ALL the eggs and bacon"

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
