11 Things Literally All Drivers Have Said And Done

All drivers know how it goes to do or say something that we feel ridiculous for, but then later realize and remember that other drivers out there have done similar things. Here are 11 statements and actions that all drivers have probably said or done at some point. No shame.

1. "Nice turn signal, *dude or lady.*" *All said with sarcasm*

Even though you're just as guilty about not using a turn signal sometimes, it's always nice to blame others.

2. "That person better not try to turn right on my green arrow left turn."

There is nothing more annoying than having a green arrow left and someone thinks they are fast enough to turn right in front of you.

3. The light turns from green to yellow all of a sudden. What do you do? Step on it, you can make it through the light.

I always stop if I have enough time in advance, but if I know I'm going too fast to slow down with the amount of time the light gave me, then I just have to step on the pedal and make it through the light.

4. Not every stop is a complete stop.

I by no means follow the saying, "No cop, no stop", but I'll admit that not every stop is a complete stop. It's more of a roll more than anything.

5. We have all hit a curb of some sort.

I am super guilty of this. I have hit so many different curbs it's ridiculous. Nothing serious, but definitely have hit a lot.

6. We have all hit something besides a curb at some point as well.

Whether it be a mailbox, guardrail, or a trashcan, we all can say we have probably hit something minor once or twice.

7. "The speed limit is 45, why are you going 35?"

One of my pet peeves is when someone is going 10 or more under the speed limit. It's really okay to drive the speed limit given.

8. Giving someone the bird.

We all have probably done this or at least have honked at someone for something ignorant that they did. Someone didn't use a turn signal while passing you and cut you off? *Insert the bird*

9. Having a lead foot sometimes worries you.

Sometimes you are just cruising along and before you know it, you're going 5 or more over the speed limit.

10. Except when on the interstate, having a lead foot is more tolerable.

Going 70 in a 65 on the interstate? Not as big of a deal, because chances are, some other person is going at least 10 over.

11. "How do they even have a license?"

Whenever you've been stuck behind the same car for a while and they keep doing things that really make you question how in the world they even got their license in the first place.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
