Did You Know There Is A Bacon Festival In California?

Everyone who isn't vegetarian or vegan loves a good piece of sizzling hot bacon once in awhile with their breakfast. Some might even say it is probably the manliest snack you could have with your meal. But, in the past years, America has overemphasized bacon. It has gotten to the point of a Bacon and Bourbon Festival.

You heard it right. Bacon and Bourbon Festival. What could be better?

This festival took place on May 1, 2016 at LA Center Studios. If you somehow got a ticket to this festival, you were given free samplings from participating businesses and more than 20 different breweries. Pictured below is the LA Bacon Fest Queen from 2015

It is said to "feature dozens of restaurants and bakeries. The event will play homage to all things bacon, presented in both sweet and savory dishes... and a custom photo booth."
