We've seen the list for the basic girl, the fashionista, the vegan, etc. but what about that quiet nerdy girl in your life who fan girls over the release of a new book in her favorite series rather than the release of Kylie Jenner's new lip sticks. Here are the top things you can get that special bookworm and she'll love it!

1. Books

This is probably the most obvious honestly, BUT you can never go wrong with snooping around finding her list of "Books I want to read" (because I promise she probably has one) and picking out 2 or 3. She will love you forever!

2. Stickers

Yes, you read that right stickers! Your beautiful bookworm is not only obsessed with books but with planners as well and stickers go great with planners! So long onto etsy and find some cute stickers! Plus, these could be great stocking stuffers.

3. A planner

It's almost the end of the year which means it's time for a new planner. Every girl needs a planner in her life, its the only way to keep our hectic lives in order. My ultimate favorite is the Erin Condren Life Planner, it keeps my hectic life sane.

4. Gift Cards

If you don't trust yourself picking out books or stickers then go head over to Books A Million, Barnes and Noble or 2nd and Charles! You can never go wrong with a gift card and letting her go crazy at her favorite book store!

5. Cozy things

Socks, blankets, pillow, oh my! There's nothing like snuggling up in some cozy socks and blanket and enjoying a good book! She will adore you and her new cozy things!

6. Cute mugs

Another essential to cozy things is a nice cup of coffee or tea! It just tops everything off really. You can even personalize one with her favorite book quote! And every time she smiles at that first sip off coffee she'll smile even more because you got her the perfect mug!

7. A bath shelf/tray

What is more perfect that relaxing in a hot bath while reading a book? Nothing. That is as perfect as it gets.

8. Book ends

Every book worm one days hopes to have their own library. But for now they will settle for a few shelves with their favorite books and cute book ends and maybe a nick-knack or two.

9. Cute book marks

The magnetic bookmarks are great! I always throw my book into whatever bag i'm carrying around that day so the magnetic bookmarks are greats because they stay in place so I never have to worry about losing my place. Again, these would be great stuffers!

10. Anything to organize

Every nerdy girl gets great satisfaction out of being able to organize everything. Its even better if our organizing tools are cute and stylish!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
