With all the hot new music that has been coming out recently, it can get hard to forget about some of the classics. However, there are just some old songs that never grow old. As soon as you hear these songs start playing, you and your friends run straight to the dance floor. These are just a couple of my favorite throwback songs:

1. Low by Flo Rida.

As soon as you hear "Apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur" you are already preparing to get low on the dance floor. This is probably one of my favorite songs to dance to and almost everyone knows the lyrics so everyone is bound to be screaming them together.

2. Kiss Me Thru The Phone by Soulja Boy.

This is another classic and another one that everyone is bound to know the lyrics to.

3. Umbrella by Rihanna.

Rihanna just keeps the good music coming. Her old songs are just as great as the new ones.

4. Forever by Chris Brown.

As soon as this familiar tune comes on and everyone yells, "1 2 3 4!" you know that Chris Brown's classic is playing. This catchy song can get stuck in your head for days and it is also a good one to dance to.

5. Replay by Iyaz.

This is one of my favorites. I still remember when it came out and watching the music video. You'll have it on replay for days.

6. Temperature by Sean Paul.

7. Whatever You Like by T.I.

This is still one of my favorite songs to this day. It is just so catchy and I can have it on replay for hours and still not get sick of it.

8. Ignition by R. Kelly.

This is just a classic, and another one that everyone knows the lyrics to. "Then after the show it's the after party, and after the party it's the...Hotel Lobby!" Is one of the lines that everyone always has a blast yelling.

9. Mr. Brightside by The Killers.

This is a classic that me and my friends love to scream and dance to. It is played at almost every function for my sorority, and as soon as it comes on we all just start jumping up and down and singing along.

10. Yeah! by Usher.

Usher just never gets old.

11. Gold Digger by Kanye West.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
