Well all know that feeling of coming back to school after a long break and dreading the return to anxiety and stress. Luckily, we have Netflix shows to help us along the way as we enter a new semester after Christmas break. One of the classic favorites is of course, Friends. So, I decided to pick six Friends quotes and relate them to the start of a semester. Here it is, for your pleasure, the start of a semester as told by Friends.

1. Coming back to the first day of the semester and the professor makes fun of you for being "too quiet" and for forgetting about what you learned last semester.

"We were on a break!"

2. Walking outside to the morning sun for the first time after being a lazy bum all break.

"Hey, remember when I had corneas?"

3. Going to class the second day of the new semester and you are just not feeling that school homework vibe yet.

Rachel (Professor): You didn't finish reading it?

Ross (You): It was 5:30 in the morning, and you had rambled on for eighteen pages - front and back!

4. That friend that makes you do all their work is back and you are not ready for it again.

Joey (Friend): Pheebs, you wanna help?

Phoebe (You): Oh, I wish I could, but I don't want to

5. Trying to eat healthy after gaining all that holiday weight.

Rachel (You): I will have the uh, side salad.

Waiter: And what will that be on the side of?

Rachel (You): Uh, I don't know. Why don't you put it right here next to my water?

6. When it's already the first day and the work load is piling up

Good luck on the new semester everybody, you can do it! What makes your return to school bearable? Friends certainly helps mine.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
