As you walk down Main Street in Magic Kingdom at Disney World, you are hit with every single Disney experience that creates the magic including the horse-drawn carriage rides, the many street performers, Disney characters posing for pictures, the infinite amount of gift shops, and at the end of the street Cinderella's Castle stands towering over the park.
There is a small detail missed by most people as they stroll or run through the dream-filled park; Disney World is filled with people of all ages. Tiny babies are passed out in their strollers, while parents push the worn out child bickering about the heat or waiting in the lines. There are children full of excitement when Mickey Mouse, Tinker Bell or their favorite character comes into view.
Teenagers and young adults can be found adventuring and exploring the park waiting in sixty-minute long lines for Splash Mountain. Grandparents stop at every shop, show, and ice cream place; they sit on benches watching all the people running around, while they laugh, reminisce, and enjoy time with their grandchildren.
Disney is the place where dreams come true. It is the happiest place on Earth for any person young or old. Each park (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios) offers a unique experience for everyone. Anyone can have an unforgettable and magical adventure.
Even in the hot, miserable, and humid heat, everyone can find something that peaks their interests. Each visit can be made unforgettable!
The firework and light shows at each park are thrilling as a kid but mesmerizing as an adult. Parents and young adults can often be heard after the shows saying, "How could they pull this off?" The story depicted by each nighttime show is incredible and the themes have the ability to send chills down your spine.
At the age of fourteen, I didn't understand why the tickets for the Disney Parks were so expensive. The rides weren't nearly as exciting as other theme parks, the lines were incredibly long, and I thought there were so few rides at some of the parks.
However, this past trip I finally realized why tickets are so expensive. Disney, unlike any other theme park, creates a magical experience for all ages. At any one time, you can see ten different shows, go on a dozen different rides, get pictures with any of the characters scattered across the parks, go to various museums, explore the countries of Epcot, eat at one of the many unique restaurants, experience the several street performances or just people watch from your favorite restaurant.
Disney creates a magical, unique, and dream-filled experience for all guests who decide to visit. They take the phrase, "Be our guest" to an extreme. You can take a vacation to Disney World year after year and still have a different and magical adventure! This is why as you walk down Main Street towards the castle you will pass infants, toddlers, children, teenagers, young adults, parents, and grandparents all experiencing their own unique and magical journey.
