Kindness is key, try to practice it

The Power Of Positivity

How do you look at the glass? Is it half full or half empty? Whichever way you look at it there is always room for positivity. Negativity can be such a grueling and exhausting trait. Time to decrease the negativity in your life and add some positivity!

Find the positive in the negative. Yeah, sometimes life can be a b*tch. It can be stressful, chaotic, and sometimes things go the opposite of how we want them to go. You didn't get the A+ on that paper you worked your ass off on, you spilt coffee on your shirt, you're running late to work, and so on. Life is always here to throw curve balls at us. Let's look on the bright side, you really enjoy the class and the professor let's you re-write the paper, you didn't like that shirt anyway, and you've never been late before.

Show positivity towards others.

Just like you, everyone goes through tough times. At times it can be hard to cheer yourself up when your life feels like it's hitting rock bottom. Complimenting people or cheering them up could make their day!

Accept positivity from others.

There are certain people who can't accept a compliment and always seem to be in a grumpy mood. People don't just hand out compliments like candy... okay maybe some people do. But if someone tell's you, "you look beautiful today", accept it and say thank you.

Wake up on the right side of the bed.

Not literally, but just wake up with a fresh and positive mindset! If this means standing in front of the mirror and telling yourself how great you are, do it. If this means you need to meditate, do it. Do whatever it takes to keep a happy outlook on things. It's easier to have a more positive day when you start out on the right track.

Try new things.

If you don't like something in your life, FIX IT. Only you have the ability to make your life the best possible. This is the best time to try new things, explore new places, and more!

Life is too damn short to be negative. Enjoy your life and be happy.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
