Pinterest is the online pin board that has plagued the phones and laptops of girls everywhere. While it sucks up tons of time, it contains countless great ideas and inspirations for everything under the sun. Here are some of the average Pinterest Queen's favorite pin boards:

1. Wedding: What girl hasn’t fantasized about her future wedding? Pinterest is just a glorious way to prematurely organize every detail whether it be your dress, color scheme, or beach venue on a private island that you’ll never actually be able to afford.

2. Home: After you imagine your future wedding, you essentially have to create a board for your future home. Maybe you’re in love with a rustic, upscale lodge look, you’re the epitome of boho-chic, or you like to think you were supposed to be born a mermaid and your whole life is beach themed. Either way, it will show on the Pinterest Queen’s board.

3. Clothes: The clothes board is basically a virtual closet containing every piece of clothing that we wish we had but probably never will.

4. Food: It’s the real reason most Pinterest Queens even got on Pinterest. You can find anything from healthy dinner recipes to cinnamon roll pancakes and more delicious sweets that nobody really needs to eat.

5. Travel: Most people are a little wanderlust, but the extent will show on the travel board. Here you'll find the Pinterest Queen's desires to travel to places like Istanbul, Paris, or Venice. This board will be plastered with beautiful pictures of places that we can typically only dream of seeing.

6. College: The college board is full of study tips, websites to find cheap books because you're awfully frugal, and of course ideas for how to decorate your dorm room or apartment.

7. Tattoos: Tattoos are a serious lifelong commitment, so what better way is there to contemplate their design and placement than have a board full of possibilities? Maybe you're not interested in getting permanently tatted, but even if that's the case you probably have hennas or flash tattoos pinned.

8. Hair: For those drastic summer changes or post-breakup alterations, the hair board is not only necessary, but utter perfection for the times when you expect your hairdresser to give you the luscious locks of Selena Gomez or T-Swift's cute cut.

9. DIY: This board is for all of the genius creations that you'll never actually do yourself, partially because you can find it cheaper at Home Goods or Target, partially because you have a busy life.

BONUS- Sorority stuff: If you happen to be one of the wonderful girls that’s part of the Greek community on your campus, you’ve got to have a board full of paddles, badge boxes, bid day ideas, gifts for future littles, clothes with your letters, painted flasks and coolers, and of course costume ideas for all of the themed parties that you always end up going to. Are you even a sorority girl if you don’t have a board to prove it?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
