Why I Think The New Lion King Movie Will Be Amazing

I grew up in a Disney-Loving family, so I've always watched the new Disney movies that come to the theaters and I think the new Lion King movie will be great, based on Disney's success in all of the work that they do!

People Are Quick To Judge:

There are many people out there who are quick to judge and hate on something. Some Disney fans wish that Disney wouldn't touch the original masterpiece. I personally think it's so incredible that they want to reinvent these classics. I believe some people are afraid that these new live-action remakes will ruin the original. I wish everyone would go to watch the movie before judging so quickly.

It Is A Story We All Know Well:

The Lion King is a classic Disney film. The characters are adorable, the story is heartbreaking and uplifting. I am so excited to see this movie in a whole new way. I believe Disney wanted to recreate the classic film because there are so many new ways to revamp the original. There will be audiences young and old. Some will probably not even know what the story is about! We get to see our beloved animals come to life!

The Cast:

Disney knows their stuff when it comes to casting. Just recently when they announced Halle Bailey as Ariel in the new remake of The Little Mermaid, there was a lot of controversies. I trust Disney and whoever they hire because every movie has turned out amazing! I was so excited to hear about who they cast for The Lion King. Donald Glover is a singer that young adults know very well. We all know who Beyonce is! They are both very talented performers. They are also bringing back the real OG, James Earl Jones, to play Mufasa once again.

The Music:

One of the greatest Disney soundtracks is The Lion King! There are so many great hits on the album that I still enjoy. I love watching the movie and singing along. The new talented cast is going to recreate the soundtrack and I can't describe how excited I am to hear the soundtrack in a whole new way. Beyonce and Donald Glover are very well known singers. I am truly hopeful that this new movie soundtrack will be even better before. I went and saw The Lion King musical in New York City. There is one song that was new to me called, "He Lives In You". With this new movie, I hope that they include this song because it has become my favorite song from the soundtrack!

The Story:

With a fantastic new cast, I believe that they will recreate the story in a new light. Like the other revamped movies: Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, etc, there will be new ideas for a 2019 audience. For example, feminism is a really important factor right now, so in Aladdin, they gave Jasmine more character than in the original movie. I'm not sure if they will write any new music for The Lion King since there are so many great songs in the classic. I do believe that they will add some more modern things into the movie to keep audiences interested.

I absolutely love all of the Disney movies. I think it's amazing what they can do with technology now. The Lion King is a classic film that we all know and love. I am hopeful that they will turn The Lion King into something amazing while holding onto its classic aspects.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
