After this dreadful "spring", it's time to roll your windows down & turn your volume up in your car. Therefore I'm going to do you a favor and give you ten songs that always have & always will be bangers.

Disclaimer - There will be no J. Cole...at all.

1. Chance the Rapper - Good Ass Intro

A song I am willing to petition to be played throughout downtown Chicago on Saturdays mornings. When Chance says, "And we back, and we back" I feel that on a personal level. It's time to get back to your drunk alter ego & your non-remorseful degeneracy.

2. Bruno Mars (ft. Gucci Mane) - That's What I Like

This is the perfect song to play for that special guy or girl when they get in your car for that first summer ice cream date just for appreciation purposes. It's not strawberry champagne, but I'm sure she'll appreciate the strawberry milkshake from Andy's! Also, with Gucci Mane featuring it's the added "Brr!" needed on a hot, summer date.

3. Rihanna (ft. Drake) - Work

I know you don't need another reminder that you actually have to get up off your ass this summer and work but Rihanna's voice should be enough motivation to at least start the day. Honestly, I would recommend listening to this song in the mirror so you can attempt to bring out your inner Aubrey Graham and reassure yourself.

4. Frank Ocean - Sweet Life

Just read the title, play the song & tell me you don't want to live life just as freely as Frank. While the lyrics' meaning are a mystery, the beat in the song is so melodic it brings the purity to your summer debauchery.

5. R. Kelly - Ignition (Remix)

I will no longer tolerate anyone who disrespects this song when it's played at any function. If you don't immediately start singing along when he says "This the remix to Ignition, hot and fresh out the kitchen", you're either too busy chasing a drink or have terrible music taste.

6. Quavo, Chance the Rapper, Justin Bieber - I'm The One

While may Bieber Fever never lasted long, my appreciation for Quavo's ad-libs will never cease.

7. The Notorious B.I.G - Mo Money Mo Problems

The chorus of this song is Top 10 of all time. After listening to the song 4 times in a row, you'll find it very hard to resist screaming "THE MORE MONEY WE COME ACROSS, THE MORE PROBLEMS WE SEEEEEEE!" Even if your bank account says you already have enough problems as it is.

8. Lil Yachty - Priorities

Lil Boat had some bad news for you, me & all of our friends last summer and we're bringing his prophecy to summer 2k18:

Our priorities are ______ ___

Fill in the blank at your own discretion.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
