We're almost finished with 2016. It's safe to say that it has been disappointing for the big budget films while the indies/Oscar worthy films have been great. While everyone is rounding up their top ten lists, it's also time to consider our most anticipated films for next year. I asked over 70 people to mention their most anticipated film of this upcoming summer. Here is a sum of what they said.

10. Transformers: The Last Knight (1.4%)

"I like the Transformers movies. Sue me"

9. Cars 3 (2.8%)

"Dankest movie of all time"

"I love Disney"

8. Despicable Me 3 (2.8%)

"I thought the first two were fun and the minions are super cute!"

"That trailer was amazing!"

7. Baywatch (2.8%)

"This looks like a fun movie to take my girlfriend to."

"It has Zac Efron. Plus I'm more of a comedy person than an action person."

6. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (5.6%)

"Hopefully fixes on stranger tides"

"Because I love all of these movies in this series and can't wait to see the newest one."

5. Dunkirk (7%)

"Because Christopher Nolan is one of the best directors working today. I am always excited to see what he does next."

"Christopher Nolan is my favorite director right now. This film looks promising."

"Christopher Nolan, baby!"

4. Wonder Woman (9%)

"Regardless of D.C. Or Marvel, Wonder Woman is a superhero movie with a female lead which is not as mainstream as it should be and could be great for female representation in the media. It also has Chris Pine, had a good trailer, and looks to be set in WWII which is interesting."

"I love Wonder Woman and I especially love D.C. comics. I'm really excited to see how closely they follow the comic books and where they go as far as the stories and personal details."

"The trailers have sold me. I'm more hopeful than skeptical. When you have Geoff Johns and a Wonder Woman comic writer writing the screenplay, you can at least guarantee that Wonder Woman will be portrayed accurately. I'm crossing my fingers for this one."

"I am all about female superhero movies."

3. Spider-Man: Homecoming (11.3%)

"Michael Keaton"

"This is what Spider-Man should be like"

"Spider-Man's first solo adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe."

"Because it's Marvel. And I loved Civil War, so I'm excited to see Spiderman and Iron Man again!"

2. War for the Planet of the Apes (19.7%)

"The Apes franchise has given us not one, but two phenomenal films with heart-breaking stories, ground-breaking visual effects, and a riveting performance-capture by Andy Serkis as the lead; Caesar. Couple that with a recent trailer for War that was both amazing and nail-biting, and you have my most anticipated film of the year."

"Apes is one of my all time favorite franchises and this reboot series has been amazing."

"Interested to see how they move the series forward with this film as the trailer makes it look very similar to Dawn of the Planet of the Apes."

"I trust that Matt Reeves will deliver once again. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was my favorite movie of 2014."

"Because the last two have been one of the bests of those years."

1. Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 (35.2%)

"My boyfriend loves that movie so it'll be cute to see it with him"

"Because, Marvel, duh! And Groot is the best."

"Because volume 1 was so awesome!"

"Chris Pratt is 👌🏼"

"Guardians of the Galaxy is my favorite CBM so I am really excited."

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
