All About The Millennial Miss
Chelsea Briche

One of the most exciting parts of life is all the new and interesting people we come across on a daily basis. I had the pleasure of coming in contact with Chelsea Briche, a modern-day superstar blogger who writes with both her head and her heart. Her aim is centered around women going through the ups and downs that we all face. Her passion for her work has helped her through her own situations and has pushed her through points of her life that have made her the person she is today.

Tell me a little bit about yourself and why you created "The Millennial Miss."

My name is Chelsea Briche and I am a 26-year-old who believes that with hustle and heart you can accomplish your wildest dreams. Reese’s Peanut Buttercups and vanilla-scented candles are my weaknesses, my family is my world, I am a Scorpio to the T, and I sing in the shower as if I was Beyonce.

I created The Millennial Miss because I felt there was a need for a site dedicated purely to Millennial women and all of the trials and tribulations that we face growing up in today's society.

How did you get started/interested in writing/blogging?

Writing is a form of therapy for me. Some drink wine, others shop, I put pen to paper. I have kept a journal for as long as I can remember. The pages are full of happy moments, heartbreak, and everything in between.

About two years ago I found myself standing at a crossroad in life and it was then that I decided I would organize my content and publish it on my own platform. I will never forget the day my site went live. I had the biggest set of terrified yet overly excited butterflies fluttering in my stomach. With that wave of emotion I knew that I was doing the right thing. I knew that I was on to something and I haven't looked back since.

What is your message to your readers?

The Millennial Miss is the active landing spot for twenty-something women who are fearlessly stumbling into the real world. No matter if you are hustling to land your dream job, navigating through the dating scene, or tirelessly watching YouTube tutorials to perfect that GiGi beach wave, I have your back through it all!

What is your ultimate goal with "The Millennial Miss?”

My entrepreneur mindset is running rampant with answers. To be short and sweet, my ultimate goal with The Millennial Miss is to grow it into an empire full of badass women with hearts of gold.

What inspires you to keep writing and blogging?

I am completely infatuated by the journey of life. All of the twists and turns, the all encompassing relationships, the beautiful moments, and the complete chaos are what inspire me to keep writing. Hearing how my blog posts have positively influenced others is what motivates me to continue to publish content.

What do you hope to achieve in the next 10 years?

Oh gosh, what a loaded question! I am a big dreamer both in my professional and personal life, so there is a mile-high list of things that I strive to accomplish. With that being said, as long as I continue to encourage others and live a life full of happiness and health, than there will be a smile on my face.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
