The First Week of the Semester, As Told by HBO's Insecure

You go through your closet trying to pick our your show-stopping first day of school outfit.


You walk around campus, making sure that everyone sees your outfit because it's all sweatpants and t-shirts from here.


You run into all of your friends and catch up in the dining hall.



You plan out all your work for the week and say "This semester will be different."


You spend all your free time with your friends watching Netflix.


Friday comes by and you are ready for any and everything. ( And hoping to see that guy from your class)







You dance the night away and try to not think about all the work you have to do this semester.









You spend Sunday with your roommate recovering from the "best weekend ever."









You realize that syllabus week is over and that you have to do work now.


I promise you will make it through and getthrough another crazy semester. You have done it before and can do it again.

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
