It's summer break, and us college students are all ready for it. After all the sleepless nights studying that we went through a few weeks prior, we all are more than happy summer is finally here. We can go home, enjoy the weather, and do the things that we have been waiting to do all year over this long break. But from my experience with any summer break, there is usually a "summer break high" and then a quick drop in excitement after the first few weeks. So here are the stages of the first few weeks of summer, told by Modern Family.

1. The "OH MY GOD YAY IT'S FINALLY SUMMER I AM FINALLY FREE" stage

2. The "I AM GOING TO DO EVERYTHING EVER THIS SUMMER AND VISIT ALL MY FRIENDS IN OTHER STATES AND IT'S GOING TO BE THE BEST ONE YET" stage

3. The "I can finally start ALL the shows on Netflix I didn't get to during school" stage

4. The "I can get my summer bikini body in one week with NO PROBLEM" stage

5. The "Sleep. As. Much. As. Possible" stage

6. The "Oh wait, I'm broke... I actually have to work 5 days a week.." stage

7. The "I don't care, I'm going to spend all my money anyways" stage

8. The "I'm kinda starting to miss school..." stage.

9. The "Oh wait, I'm actually really bored, oops" stage

10. The "I can't wait to go back to school" stage.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
