The Days of the Week
As Seen Through the Eyes of a College Student
1. Miserable Monday
Mondays are the absolute worst. Not only do you have to get out of bed at a ridiculous hour and be in class by 9 a.m., but you also have a heap of assignments waiting to be assigned by your all-too- eager professor. Most likely, you were too busy having fun this weekend to do or to even care about the homework. So, you will have to wing it in when your professor calls on you mid-slumber, to remind you that you are still in her classroom. Bottom line: today BITES!
2. Tackle Everything Tuesday
After yesterday, you’re fully prepared to tackle everything today. However, you instantly get distracted by Netflix or something funny that someone posted on Snapchat. Maybe a study break will clear your head and help you focus. Before you know it, your study breaks has lasted four hours past its’ expected time and you’re ready for bed. Well… you got a little work done. The rest can wait until tomorrow.
3. Why- Is-This-Week-Not-Over Wednesday
.Not only have your professors gotten carried away with their mid-week work assignments, but you also have a couple of tests to study for. Friday could not look any better. Maybe if you could plan out your weekend, it would help you de-stress and you could get more work done. Your phone becomes your best friend as you decide where to go, who to go with, and what to wear. Looking forward to Friday, you can’t really concentrate, so you decide to finish everything tomorrow
4. Turn-in-Everything- Late Thursday
Completely energized and excited about the weekend, you finally get some work done. Not only do you turn in your assignments, but you actually study for those tests. Although some work is a little late, “It’s better late than never”, right? At this point, you don’t care about getting an A, you just want to pass!
5. Forget-Everything-Its Friday
Friday has finally arrived and you couldn’t be any happier. Your teachers have assigned quite a load of homework, but who cares? It’s Friday and nothing can bring you down! Those plans you made for the weekend outweigh everything that could go wrong about today.
6. Sleep-In-Late Saturday
After a fun night to cap off a stressful week, you’re getting some much needed sleep. It’s the weekend, who’s thinking about homework?! Plus, you need to rest up for tonight’s plans anyway.
7 Super-Productive Sunday
You’ve had so much fun this weekend, that haven’t even thought about homework. You now have no other choice but to get everything done. You spend today in your sweats, watching Netflix, eating leftovers, and typing like an evil mastermind. You get to bed late; but you get everything done and are prepared to take on next week like a pro!
