The crocs squad is a group of friends in college who grow closer as the months go by. Each individual is a shoe based off of their personalities. See if you or any of your friends fit one of these shoes. Here we go!

1. White Crocs.

These crocs represent the friend with the purest heart. This individual cares about others so much! They sometimes forget to take care of him or her self. This person is basically the mom or dad of the group. This friend is probably the most responsible one, but not bossy. Just because they are percieved as bossy doesn't mean they don't party. They are still ready to have fun at any moment but are very aware of when the limit has been reached. Call this friend when you need someone to listen to you. Just because this friend is very mature doesn't mean they won't need help. Look out for him or her because they won't always ask for help.

2. Purple Crocs.

This shoe represents a friend who is down to earth. This individual is able to keep the entire group grounded. This friend is great at making jokes and is the most open person you may ever meet. In this person, you will notice his or her creativity, ambition, and courage. This is the friend you would go to when you need a confidence boost. He or she will push you and motivate you whenever it seems like you need it. Just make sure you don't misunderstand their actions. This friend is also blunt and has a truckload of sassiness, but he or she only wants what is best for you.

3. Sky Blue Crocs.

This shoe represents the friend who tends to stay to themselves. He or she loves the other friends, but enjoys quiet time. This friend is the opposite of the friend who is fun to be around. This person is fun to be around, but not because they are doing it intentionally. He or she is usually serious when saying something, but it is very funny to those around them. This friend tends to overreact so, it is good for you to calm them down. No matter what happens or what is going on this individual is willing to do whatever it takes to help.

4. Multi-Colored Crocs.

This shoe represents a friend who is always fun to be around. He or she is the friend who loves to go places and encourages the frugal friend to spend money when needed. He or she is hilarious and can be the good kind of dramatic. If you are around this friend you will never be bored because they always keep the party going. Do not hurt this friend because he or she will not hesitate to forget you if you do him or her wrong.

5. Represent Your School Crocs.

This shoe represents a friend who is all about school spirit. He or she is peppy and has the ability to make any student who usually does not participate get pumped up. This is the optimistic individual who sees the cup as half full instead of half empty. It is rare that this friend will ever be in a bad mood, but even when he or she is, it's never possible for them to be hateful to others.

6. The Music Crocs.

This shoe represents the friend who loves to sing along to Disney and Pixar movies. This individual is down for karaoke any time and place. You will want to have movie marathons with this friend all of the time. If this friend is ever upset, the atmosphere will become heavy and everyone will feel it because this friend feels so deeply.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
