It is summer and its time to start it right! You finally have the time to kick back relax and get into a new series to binge watch. While yes it is important to be outside too, sometimes it is important to kick back and relax and have some well deserved you time! So on that note, crank up the AC, grab some snacks, and it is time to get watching.

1. The Affair

Even though I just started this series it is super interesting and captivating. The perfect summer time series, watch Noah and Allison's affair play out in the Hamptons. This show will leave you wondering and thirsty for more!

2. The Royals

I have watched this show from the start and I loved it!! I need to catch up on this past season but it is really a good show. There is a load of scandals and drama. Watch the power struggle between all the members of the family. If you love anything royal this a great show for you!!

3. The Crown

Another royal goodie!! Get an inside view of Queen Ellizabeth II accession into power and the first few years of her reign. This show is one of my favorites, I sat down and watched the whole season in a week.

4. 911

Love this show, it gives you an inside view into the lives of first responders. Its intense and unpredictable, showing you what real life first responders can face. It hooks you right from the first episode.

5. The Resident

This show is actually really eye opening, it shows the wrongs within the hospitals and how there are so many wrongs within health care. Jam packed with ethical dilemmas, dramas and scandals.

6. Billions

Haven't started this show yet, but ive heard really good things. Its intense and dramatic. A show where wealth, corruption and influence collide.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
