From my limited amount of cooking knowledge I give to you what I think are the best things to cook at home.

1.) Chinese food- Chinese food is definitely a full cooking project, where you cook multiple parts of the meal all at once. But it is rewarding along the way because you get to smell what you are cooking along the way. In cooking Chinese you can really make the color pop out of the vegetables and the food, so your meal will be colorful.

2.) Pancakes- Pancakes take about three minutes to whip up their dough. Then after that you can pour the dough into perfect circles out into the pan and watch as the bubbles and holes form in the dough. When the pancakes start looking like a full moon with lots of craters and all then you can flip it. After you flip it then it is just a lucky guessing fame as to when you should flip it back over, but it usually doesn't take long. Also after flipping it over the first time you have gotten a preview of what your pancake will look like.

3.) Bread- I will always try to cook bread when I get the chance in hopes of making bread that tastes like Amish bread that the Amish make, which is one food I consider heavenly. The Amish really are people who do things correctly and they are just perfect people the Amish because they strive so hard for heaven and to please God, that they make the most perfectly heavenly bread that I consider good enough for God. Amish bread is the food of the gods or actually as the would want me to say food of God. Anyways I will keep trying to cook bread until I have Amish tasting bread which I haven't achieved yet.

4.) Black Forest cake- I made this cake one year for my mom and her birthday. I remember working on it at night and the name was just the coolest I thought so I tried to make it. And it tasted so good and like a homemade cake even though it used store bought ready to make batter. Somehow and I forgot how the recipe told me to add a few extra or different ingredients to the store bought batter that made it taste better and more homemade. So anyone reading this should try the recipe and discover this secret that I can't remember for themselves. And it is a cake that has top decoration on it that adds fun to it. Black forest cake is essentially a chocolate cake with whip cream and cherries in the middle and chocolate frosting and more cherries on top along with chocolate flakes on the side or top or both!!!!!

I would totally advise these foods if someone wants to cook but they don't know what they want to cook. Also just to assure you all these foods taste great.
