Who else, like me, is counting the days to see Emma Watson and Dan Stevens starring in the new movie 'The Beauty and the Beast' ?? This movie will be shown at the cinema the 16th of March. This date is very close so we can actually do a count down and hope that the movie will satisfy our expectations. In the meantime we can get a taste of the fairytale even before that date, only going to some shops.
Just going into a perfume shop you can admire the ‘The Beauty and the BeastT’ collection, thanks to l’Oréal Paris new makeup collection which got inspired by this movie.
The first time I came across this, it was on Instagram, seven different types of lipstick matching seven different types of nail polishes, that symbolize seven different colors which identify a different character in the movie.
Of course, who doesn’t want to buy a lipstick which makes you feel like Belle of the movie!? Everyone.
Not only l’ Orèal got inspired for making perfumes and cosmetics, other clothing fashion brands created some outfits getting inspired by the upcoming movie. Some of these fashion outfits are created similar to Belle’s yellow ball gown, Belle’s blue dress and red cape and the Beast’s navy blue blazer from the ballroom and other clothes which are characterized by identifiable patterns like roses, books and specific characters from the book.
But, is this getting out of control!? I thinks so. Even if it’s the way it works to make money.
Even Kohl’s announced their official line inspired by Disney’s 'Beauty and the Beast'. But it’s not only for adults, as Kohl's has officially a clothes line based on the new movie, we can see that even Target and the Gap got influenced too. The Gap collaborating with Disney created a perfect collection for kids, graphics and rose details. This line has everything, from leggings to dresses, from jeans to T-shirts that your child will love to wear.
Everyone will fall in love with this amazing franchising, mothers and daughters are getting excited.
I might say, if I were a child I would have loved to wear something my favorite fairytale character was wearing.
And there’s nothing better than going to these stores with kids who get excited only trying on clothes inspired by this movie. All of us have dreamed about this when we were kids, and now you really feel you are living a dream!!
The store won’t sell only 'Beauty and the Beast' merchandise but also T-shirts, accessories, from I phone cases to shoes, from games to puzzles, from personalized towels to mugs, from pillows to aprons to bags, you can find what best suits you or better your daughter!
And of course, I can’t forget to mention, the fabulous artistic cakes that kids want for their birthday, this is becoming a real, serious style!
