A recent interview of Jennifer Lawrence grilling Kim Kardashian about farting in front of Kanye and which of her siblings she would kill last has taken the internet by storm.
As a superfan of Jennifer Lawrence, this interview on Jimmy Kimmel was everything to me and more.
Since taking fame as Katniss Everdeen to becoming Hollywood’s sweetheart, she never ceases to impress me with her sarcastic personality, but also her ability to turn off the charm and be a great actress. For example, "Silver Linings Playbook" and "Joy."
She is a true talent and a jack of all trades.
That being said, I am also a superfan of "Friends," which was a smash-hit-turned-double-smash-hit by millennials, getting a second wind of popularity within the last five years. Everyone loves "Friends," and the actress who took her "Friends" fame in stride on her way to the top is none other than Jennifer Aniston.
From high profile divorce to Oscar winnings to two fashion icons in their own way, the battle for the queen of Hollywood has become simply a battle of the Jennifers, and Julia Roberts is pissed.
Comparing the two Jennifers is like comparing Sweet and Sour to General Tso’s. One’s sweet and satisfying, the other brings the kick. However, both are essential to everyone’s takeout order.
They both have humor, class, and neither of them are on social media (NOT EVEN INSTAGRAM--is that possible?) proving they are way above the tabloid drama, and often cease to even acknowledge it...because they're just that above us.
While Jennifer Aniston always charms the crap out of us with her knock-you-dead American beauty and killer sense of humor on camera ("Horrible Bosses," "We’re the Millers," "He’s Just Not that Into You"), Jennifer Lawrence is the fun aunt with the inappropriate jokes and expensive taste. Not only did JLaw have us laughing on Jimmy Kimmel with Kim, she can turn off the sarcasm and keep a straight, dramatic face on-screen long enough to win an Oscar. Even when she trips up the stairs to accept it, she is still more composed than even the most graceful of us.
In terms of talent, real beauty, and quick wit, Jennifer Lawrence is my queen of Hollywood. And queen of America. And the world. And now Gwyneth Paltrow’s pissed too.
But Gwynnie, just like Brad in the 90s, we're over you.
