As the semester draws to a close, there are certain phases everyone goes through as they can finally see the sweet relief of winter break on the horizon.
1. Thanksgiving Break
This is a little teaser of the longer break about to come and makes the next few weeks between breaks seem almost unbearable. You finally get to be home for more than the occasional weekend if you're so lucky and your homework sitting in your bag is easily ignored. When asked why you didn't finish your homework over break, you have one answer.
2. Post Break Depression
You finally return from break and you have nothing to do but fill all of your time with the studying that you didn't do over break. Netflix watching also increases as you desperately try to find something else to do besides feel guilty that you're not studying.
3. Complete Denial
The fact that finals are so close on the horizon is unbelievable and in that state of mind, we must deny the fact that any of this is happening.
