1. The Eternal Optimist
The one who’s always in a good mood. She has an insanely challenging course load and is involved in everything on campus, yet somehow she is never stressed. She’s the one who will sit with you and listen to you bitch but will always try to put a positive spin on it. She’s always the first one to suggest and plan fun group outings and you can always count on her to put you in a good mood. She’s everyone’s cheerleader and texts with an excessive amount of exclamation points. She can get along with anyone, but is probably best friends with the Eccentric One because she finds her weirdness endearing.
2. The Eccentric One
The one with all the quirks. You’ll be having a normal conversation and then she’ll interject with something that makes everyone stop and say, “WTF??” She’s loyal and she’s caring but overall she’s the one in the friend group who dances to the beat of her own drum. When everyone wants to watch 10 Things I Hate About You, she suggests you watch Project X instead. She’s the one who will randomly decide to go on a juice cleanse and then break it 4 hours later because she wants to go out with everyone else, which leads us back to the “WTF” reaction. She’s probably best friends with the Eternal Optimist because she’s the only one who can tolerate the Eccentric One's weirdness.
3. The Ann Perkins
The easy going one. She can get along with anyone and has a close relationship with everyone in the group. She’s the one you go to for advice because she’s very pragmatic. Like Ann Perkins, she’s never the center of attention but everyone loves her. She’s never the one making the plans, but she’s the one who’s always down if someone else makes them. She’s always very put together, except when she goes out— then a completely different side is unleashed. She’s probably best friends with the Raging Extrovert because they balance each other out.
4. The Kylie
The one whose makeup is always on point. She’s always in the know of the newest fashion and makeup trends. She was the first of your group to bring the choker back and rocked it. There’s not a makeup trend she doesn’t know about and she’s always in tune with the celebrity gossip, especially when it concerns Nick Jonas. She’s always willing to help you with your makeup or give you advice on an outfit, just like she’s the one who is easiest to talk to. She’s extremely empathetic and understanding, and will be there for any of you when you need to talk. She’s probably best friends with the Wild Child because the Kylie is always down to to have a good time, especially if it means wearing a new outfit and lipstick.
5. The Raging Extrovert
The social butterfly. The one who has 7 other friend groups outside your immediate friend group. She loves being the center of attention and can’t help herself when inviting people to your birthday party— She invites everyone, I mean everyone. She’s the one who expresses all her emotions. If something’s bothering her, no one needs to ask because you know she’ll tell you. She’s the one who walks in the door and says, “Guess what, guys!” and then proceeds to tell you about her entire day. She’s probably best friends with the more introverted Ann Perkins because Ann allows her to be the center of attention and is probably the only one that can tame the “Raging Extrovert” to just “The Extrovert.”
6. The Busy Bee
AKA the hot mess. She’s the one that has five different club meetings a day and whose resume is super impressive. It’s hard to keep tabs on her. She’ll leave for days and no one is concerned. But whenever she is around and is able to hang out with everyone, it’s an unspoken rule that everyone drop their shit and be there because this only happens once in a blue moon. She’s probably best friends with the Raging Extrovert because she’s never around, so you know the Raging Extrovert will be the one to make sure she’s in the loop.
7. The Wild Child
The one who is always looking for a party. She’s the first to notify the group about a party and is the instigator of the group. You might think you don’t want to go out tonight, but once you talk to the Wild Child you suddenly have a change of heart and think it’s the greatest idea ever. She has a work hard, play hard mentality and everyone is amazed by her ability to keep up with her difficult major and still go out four nights a week. She’s probably best friends with the Kylie because the Kylie will listen to all her stories from her most recent crazy night out— TBH it’ll be more of a rehashing of the stories from the night before because the Kylie was probably out with her.
