There is nothing better than sitting at home with nothing to do and watching Netflix. Really, the man who invented this beautiful website is a genius and his birthday should be a holiday in my opinion. My favorite thing about Netflix though, is when someone asks what is good to watch. Even though my list could really go on and on, I have narrowed it down for those of you who have ever asked the question, "What are some good shows on Netflix?" So, here are my top five favorite shows to binge watch.

5. Psych

This about a guy who can't figure out what he wants to do with his life but is really good at picking out detail to solve cases. He then opens up a psych shop and acts like a psychic for the police department. This show is absolutely freaking hilarious. If you're looking for a show that will make you laugh until it hurts, then this is definitely your show.

4. Grey's Anatomy

I really don't need to explain this one because everyone pretty much know what is it, but if you're looking for guts and drama this is the show to watch. If you feel like your life is drama deprived watch this show and you will no longer feel that way- I promise. This is definitely a great binge watch show, especially sense there are so many seasons.

3. Shameless

You think your life is a mess? Yeah well, here's a show that will prove you otherwise. This is about a big family in Chicago with drunk parents and little income. With all the drama and comedy in this show you could watch it for hours and never get sick of it.

2. Bones

I love this show too much really. I watched all 11 seasons on Netflix and season 12 on tv. It can't be described. It's just full of drama and there's always something new going on. You fall in love with the love story and can't stop watching.

1. Gossip Girl

This show gives me life. I literally almost cried when I finished it. It is amazing in every way and makes you wish you lived in the upper east side and you had a rich family. Watch because you'll love it.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
