Food is probably one of my biggest passions in life. Besides the like 12 other things that I love more than it, somehow food manages to be that one thing that will never get old no matter how often I eat. That being said, teching for my current musical and constantly rehearsing, stretching, or working out makes it almost impossible for me to visit my favorite places, so I figured I would let you do it for me!
1. All American Burger
All American in Massapequa is the first stop on my list. I actually was able to go here recently, but no matter how many times I go, it's never enough. Burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese, milkshakes, and all at super low prices! Quite literally the best bang for your buck on the island.
2. Swell Taco
Swell is one of the staple crops of my hometown (Babylon), and if you're eating Tex-Mex on a Tuesday, it's bound to be one of Swell's dollar tacos. Big portions, hopping environment, and the BEST energy, Swell is all about the experience.
3. Mama's
If you're looking for Italian, you came to the right place. Mama's in Copiague is the holy grail of food places, and if I had to choose my death row meal I could say for sure that at least a decent part of it would be from here. I miss their giant portions so much, I miss leaving there with stomach pain from eating so much!
4. Bubba's Burrito Bar
Bubba's burritos in Islip is well known for being above and beyond the conceivable idea of "insane and over-the-top." Packed to their very limit, these burritos are more than enough to satisfy any craving you might have.
