I am THAT Fangirl

From Taylor Swift to Starbucks

I am THAT Fangirl
Bonjour Coley

This idea came to me earlier in the week and I knew I had to write an article about how big of an fangirl I am. Considering, that I have many obsessions and talk about them endlessly, I have decided to look at these favorites in a family-friendly humorous outlook.

Taylor Swift

Who else or what else could I have started off with. I have been a fan of Taylor Swift since Speak Now was released, but I did love her song Picture to Burn. I have seen Taylor Swift twice and I have all of her albums and her vinyl's. Taylor is actually one of my role models because of her genuine goodness and how charitable she is. She also loves her fans, as much as we love her!

Still trying to meet/ be recognized by THE Taylor Allison Swift!

Harry Styles

So I saw this other article about one direction and apparently if Harry was your favorite then you were NOT a true directioner. However, I loved Harry's curly hair and how he sung to me through my telephone. All my close friends knew how much I was in love with Harry. I even started calling him: Harold. And now he is going solo and the 16 year-old inside of me is FREAKING out!

And his awkwardness is real and I absolutely love it!

Starbucks

I love Starbucks. I love the pumpkin spice latte and iced coffee (thank you Jonathan and Gracie for initiating the iced coffee obsession). Actually one other friend, had me listen to the Starbucks rap and it was perfect. Also the Starbucks staff knows me at UNA and Kroger!

And Taylor Swift being related to Starbucks is one of my favorite things.

Friends

Ok, I always knew this was a popular television sitcom, but I did not realize how much of an iconic and popular show it really was. I think the sitcom is still a fan-favorite because they are all: awkward, endearingly quirky and they will always be there for me during finals week to cheer me up!

Also may I just say Chandler and Monica are couple goals.

Frozen

It was released in 2013 and I still love this movie. I mean between the animations, characters and the music there is so much to love. Maybe it is because I am the real life Princess Anna or I very much would love a best friend like Olaf or a prince charming like Kristoff.

Or maybe because one of my best friend's is Elsa's doppelgänger!

Gossip Girl

Another frequently watched television show I watch on Netflix because Chuck Bass primarily is the reason. Apparently, people still watch it today. I love the show because of the witty characters, Blair and Chuck's undying love for each other and the fashion.

Also I love all things New York.

Now as you have read, I am THAT Fangirl!

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
