Thanksgiving
Thats right! Today we will be talking about thanksgiving! What is there not to love about thanksgiving? Yummy food and being surrounded by people that care for you followed by nap time! Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays for many reasons! For one, I am a wicked big "foodie" so eating some of the best foods all day is right up my alley. Not only is there turkey but there is stuffing, carrots, mashed potatoes, corn bread, apple pie and the list goes on and on. I am getting so hungry just thinking about all the great food I will be able to eat. Another great thing is that if you have room and go back for a second or third plate no one can say anything but just allow it to happen. I will be totally starting my workouts after thanksgiving I promise!!
It makes me laugh because we will all get so dressed up just to sit in our own living rooms and change into big, loose sweatpants right after. I know I am not the only one to do that but hey thats one of the traditions that we get to laugh about. There is nothing better than being at the point that you are so stuffed and than changing into comfy clothes and taking a nap. Another good point is to watch the Macy's day parade or put on a good movie that everyone will enjoy!
Yes thanksgiving can be very hectic and not looked forward to for many people because of one main thing: family comes to visit. This can be true where cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents come to visit. It can be stressful having everyone in the same house at once but embrass the chaos! No family is perfect and you might as well just deal with it and make the most of the holiday! Things could turn out a lot better than expected and you can just laugh about the outcome afterwards
