To my polar opposite best friend,

It's known that you and I are two completely different people. We are definitely the most unlikely of friends but, that's what makes our friendship so great. You're pretty dresses, big necklaces and I'm messy buns and sports jerseys. After getting to know you as well as I did, I realized that your friendship is one of the best friendships I've ever had and I wanted to thank you for everything.

Thank you for accepting and loving every part of me. The good, the bad and the ugly. There are many things you and I handle differently and you've never judged me or my actions. Even if you don't agree on how I would/have handled it you still supported me. At this point, you and I have rubbed off on each other so much that we have started to do things similarly.

Thank you for always supporting me and making sure I do what makes me happiest. If something good happens and I get the opportunity of a lifetime you make it seem like I won the lottery. I wouldn't have had the courage to leave school for an entire semester if you didn't support me through the entire thing. Even tough it meant not having me around for the entire semester, you knew it was what was best for me and encouraged me to go.

Thank you for always being by my side when I needed someone. I know I made you worry too much last semester but because you were always the one by my side, I was able to get through it. I know I answered the phone upset or crying but you always ran to my side and laid in bed with me until I was OK. I was able to get through last semester because you made sure I didn't go through anything alone.

There are so many more things I need to thank you for but I thought these were the most important. It was hard enough writing this as it is because I miss you so much. I can't wait to come back home to see you and hear your contagious laugh that never fails to put a smile on my face. I'm so thankful that I was able to get to know you as well as I did and I cherish our friendship every day. As Cher Lloyd said, "You complete me and that no lie you are my tuxedo and I'm your bow tie."
