No, this is not a parallel universe. Yes, you deserve credit and recognition... because all of this you do is a "little lot of a big deal"

Thank You, Odyssey Writers.
Tim Marshall

I thank you. I thank each and every one of you. I thank you for all of your ideas and beautiful, thoughtful, and diverse content.

I thank you for leaving your hearts and minds out here, so others can see it and reflect, or relate, or simply be entertained.

I thank you no matter who you are, where you are from, whether your last name is Perez or Smith.

I thank you and I can care less about your sexuality, religion, or sexual preference.

I thank you, not having in mind what candidate you like.

I thank you for being yourselves every time you type, and for your honesty and uniqueness in doing so; for not holding back.

I am proud for the opportunity the Odyssey has given me. I am also proud of sharing the Odyssey with such amazing group of writers, diverse in many aspects, but united by this single bond.

I am asking you all not to stop. Do not stop sharing your minds with the world. The job you (we) do may influence one person, or a hundred, or thousands. Although number is such an irrelevant factor here; it takes only one soul to move a million others.

I am convinced of your passion, therefore of your ability to transfer it.

I want to tell you that you are not a number; you are not just one in the 7.5 billion. You are special and have proven it through this medium. You are unique and whoever disagrees with your content proves that point. Nobody has your mind, and "nobody have their own mind". Yes, you have just theorized diversity.

You are complex and capable to stand out, and I am proud of you for showing it to many, many other human beings, without fear.

You are more knowledgeable than anybody else of your own world. Yet you are selfless, because you choose to share part of it with us.

You are something else, Odyssey creator. Keep that in mind every time somebody tells you otherwise.

You are truly an amazing individual, making changes in the few or in the many.

You already made a difference, you are accomplished.

I'll tell you something last, Odyssey representative, and don't think I'm lacking content so I have to repeat myself (to reach the right amount of words). I'll tell you again that number is irrelevant. You only need one to have millions.

Remember, there is only ONE world.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
