Buzzfeed Unsolved

Buzfeed Unsolved, for those of you who don't know, is a true crime show about cold cases. It's so compelling. Each week a new mystery, a new creepy place to explore... how can you not love the show? The chemistry between the two hosts only amplifies an already great idea. The basic formula of their fights is Ryan getting scared to death and Shane laughing at him, or discrediting Ryan's claims that aliens were responsible for xyz. So, with that being said, each episode boasts a captivating view into a cold case. For those of you who haven't seen the show before, these are ten good episodes to start with. For the fans, like me, see if you agree with this top ten and enjoy the walk down memory lane!

1. "The Secret Society of the Illuminati"

Illuminati confirmed? Watch this video to find out. Their theories of who may possibly be involved will shock you, and their research into the history of secret societies will entice you.

2. "The Haunting of the Salem Witch Trials"

Personally, I stick to their true crime episodes. But this ghost hunt is a must watch to see these two bicker while dressed as Puritans.

3. "The Suspicious Assassination of JFK"

This case has baffled America for decades. The Buzzfeed Unsolved team investigates the most convincing theories of JFK's assassiantion.

4. "The Bizzare Death of Elisa Lam"

This is a must watch. The epitome of bizarre, you will turn over the potential explanations for this strange case for weeks. Who was Elisa Lam talking to in that elevator, if anyone?

5. "The Tragic Murder of JonBenét Ramsey"

This tragic murder of a young beauty queen has yet to be solved. Can the Buzzfeed Unsolved team provide solid theories?

6. "The Odd Vanishing of Amelia Earhart"

You come for possible explanations to this infamous disappearance, you stay for the crab graphics.

7. "The Grisly Murders of Jack the Ripper"

This is arguably one of history's most renowned cold cases. The team travels to the UK in order to investigate the strange events surrounding the murdered prostitutes of 19th century London.

8. "The Mysterious Poisoned Pill Murders"

This widespread phenomenon, the Chicago Tylenol murders, is in relatively recent memory and has changed the way in which pills are made and packaged. How was this possible? Watch this episode to find out why.

9. "Unsolved: The Legend of Krampus"

You know a show is legit when they have an animated Christmas special. While not a crime or ghost hunt, it's an interesting look into the famous myth.

10. "Roswell's Bizarre UFO Crash"

Ryan described this chilling case as "the holy grail of alien stories." This is also the pinnacle of Shane and Ryan's alien debate shtick.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
