Music heals all. Nothing is better than turning up a song and really just feeling its vibrations.

Here’s a list of ten songs, for ten moods. And when I say moods, I mean very, very descriptive moods.

1. “Sober Up” by AJR and Rivers Cuomo.

Well, you just woke up and you are not feeling too hot. Probably a little confused as well. Maybe you’re in the wrong bed? Time to do the walk of shame across campus in the middle of the 8 A.M. commute? Totally fine! Just throw on this upbeat alternative song and own that walk. You’ll be good as new in no time!

2. "Doses And Mimosas" by Cherub

It’s 10 A.M. on a Saturday and your roommate just woke you up to start partying. You kind of want to hurt him/her right now. You need some motivation …“Ten in the morning and I’m skipping breakfast, and drinking a beverage, to ignore it all.” Enough said? Yeah, that’s what I thought.

3. "Meant to Love You" by Juaz and ROUXN

Trouble in paradise… your girlfriend/boyfriend just dumped you. The heartbreak. The drama. You think your life must be over. First off, just turn off that sad music because it's only making the situation worse. Take a new approach with Jauz, he’s awesome. And when the song is over, please don’t put Ed Sheeran back on.

4. "Belong" by Axwell Ingrosso and Shapov

For when you’re feeling so grateful for the amazing friends you have in your life and you’re thinking something like this: “My friends are the greatest people on this entire planet, I would not be so at home without these amazing human beings.” On the other hand, if you have never had these thoughts, I am sincerely sorry. Find yourself some kickass friends.

5. "Psycho" by Post Malone and Ty Dolla $ign

You just pulled out of your driveway in your car that has a really weird name like Señorita or Glen because you love it so much. You’re zooming down the block way too fast, going to the bank to cash your check (or the grocery store, or the gym?) and you are really just in a great mood. "Psycho" better be blasting, so that you can get ready to belt that part. You’ll know the part when you hear it.

6. "Queen Elizabeth" by Cheat Codes

It’s the honeymoon phase! You’re in a new relationship, and you can’t be any more head over heels. Everything about this person makes you so happy. Well, enjoy it while it lasts, my friend.

7. "Nice For What" by Drake

Your roommate is finally not in the room, and you can do whatever you want. Obviously, you are going to jam to Drake and dance around the room, pretending that you’re almost as smooth as him.

8. "Like I Do" by David Guetta

Alright, you’re crying in the club. Still raging, but still sad. Just dance it off.

9. "Love On Top" by Beyónce

You and your friends are cruising down the highway, windows rolled down, driving to the beach. The sun and the good company is making you all want to sing. You know what to do. And no, you cannot hit those high notes but you are definitely still going to try.

10. "Adorn" by Miguel

For that “in the mood” kind of mood, Miguel is your man.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
