Montclair is a great school, but even the best places have things they are not great at. These are just some of the things I've noticed while being here.
1.“ You all have to be at every single class or you fail.” Maybe it's just me but this is a little excessive.
2. “Oh I’m sorry I know you ordered this book two weeks ago but it’s still not in and I have no idea when it will so check tomorrow ok?”
3. Everything is so far from everything else it's like I'm in the Bermuda triangle of getting places, no matter where I am, everything I need to get to is ten minutes away. Unless of course, it's not. Across the hall? Ten minutes. To put laundry away? Ten minutes. But when I need to go cross-campus its, of course, like a 15-minute walk. How can my laundry be nearly the same distance away as the complete opposite end of campus? Makes no sense.
4. Where is the shuttle?
5. Is this my shuttle? Is it not my shuttle? I don’t know I’ll just hop on and pray.
6. Why must they collect the garbage today of all days don't they know this is my one day to sleep in!
7. Why do I need to sign in, if I never signed out… Are there like multiple me's signed into the computer? Does it at some point just assume I have left the dorm?
8. Commuter students: Do I really need a campus ID card?
9. Canvas. That’s all I need to say.
10. The construction! “Wait your office has moved where now?”
I mean these all in good fun I hope you enjoyed them!
