Do you ever spend time with God? Do you ever spend time in the Word? Do you ever pray?

The story "A beautiful prayer from Tears" is about somebody who was so dedicated to God that every time he prayed, he cried with sincerity. Tears would pray seven to eight times a day and was so devoted to God, that he had a mission he had to do involving prayer.

One day, there was a boy who went by the name Tears. Tears was a very special person indeed. One day, he got a message telling him to travel all the way around the world and pray. When he would pray, tears would run down his face. So Tears packed his bags and headed to the airport. His mission was to travel the world and Pray. He prayed everywhere and when people saw him praying they were wondering why he was crying. There was a hidden message in every prayer that were in tears. Not very many people could figure out the hidden meaning behind each prayer. Tears had a journal that he wrote down all of the prayers that he said throughout the day. He traveled all over the world with his bible in his hands and his love of prayer. During the evenings, he would read his bible, sing praises to God and pray with tears in his eyes til he fell asleep.

One morning, Tears decided he was going to write a beautiful prayer to share with the people he meets throughout the rest of this beautiful day. The prayer went like this:

Dear Father in Heaven,

Words can not express my feelings I have for what you have you done to be our father. I can not imagine sending your son to die on a cruel cross to save us all. You are an amazing God and a very powerful one indeed. Thank you for sending me on this trip and being with me throughout it all. Thank you for the life you gave for us, thank you for being the protector. We don't realize how lucky we are to be your children. In the world that we live in today, it is not easy being a Christian and I thank you for giving us the freedom to choose to follow you. Giving the ultimate sacrifice for us so may we one day be with you. You are the Father. Sometimes, we don't realize how lucky we are to have a father like you who cares and loves as much as you do. I am very thankful and sometimes I think we take it for granted. You are a mighty and powerful God and wondrous. You have a plan for us all. We don't take the opportunity because we are too scared of being persecuted. I have been persecuted along this trip, but I know that you have been there with me and protected me. I am not alone. Please be with everyone and help those who are lost seek the truth. Help me be the example you want me to be to reach out to others.

In your name, I pray Amen.

Tears had several bible studies that morning. Before every bible study, Tears would pray and while he prayed he was crying. After a few bible studies, Tears left to go run some errands. While he was out, he ran into a preacher who was the minister of a nearby church. As he caught up with the preacher, he had the preacher read the prayer he wrote down for that day in his journal. As the preacher read it; he started crying. The preacher then invited Tears to their church where he was asked to read his prayer. As he was reading his prayer, the tears were running down his face with love and sincerity. After the prayer, the whole church was crying and he received a standing ovation. After the church services, the people who couldn't figure out why Tears cried every time he prayed, figured it out right there. Then 400 people decided to get baptized after they really figured out what the power of prayer meant, and realized the truth. The beautiful prayer of tears that was written by Tears had a lasting impact on that church and the example that he was through God and the mighty and wondrous power of what prayer is.

When Tears went back home, he remembered that beautiful prayer of tears and he sent it to all of the newspapers and he started writing a book of the prayers he has said while he was traveling. His dedication to God and the power of Prayer really shined through. Two years later his book was published and it became a best seller. He met a beautiful Christian Woman while he was traveling named Cindy and she followed him back. They were married after knowing each other for three years during his travels and they had a beautiful baby girl and a handsome baby boy together and though Tears still prayed with tears in his eyes, Cindy joined in with him and they prayed together with tears of sincerity. They were happy together and they lived to see the end of happily ever after.

A-men.

Prayer is powerful do you spend time in prayer? Psalm 91:14-16 (NIV Version) "Because he loves me", says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life, I will satisfy him and show him my salvation."

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
