TCU Finals Week Told By Bob's Burgers

Well, it has reached that time of year again.

Another long and eventful school year has come by and for some of us, we are being pushed out in the "real adult world" and I am thankfully not yet one them. So for those who are in route to graduate, congrats but more than anything...good luck!

For those of who are still studying along, swarmed in essays and exams up to our next, you will make it through. The end is in sight and boy oh boy is it beautiful, but for the mean time, here are some thoughts going through all of our heads during this time:

1. It is the "last Thursday of the year."

We all had our fun during study days, pushing aside any sense of responsibility we knew was scratching at the back of our heads and decided to reward ourselves with a little bit of fun instead.

2. We are all out of any money for food.

By this time in the year, any source of on or off campus money has been depleted and we have never been more thankful for care packages full of any type of food. The biggest takeaway from this semester we have all learned is how much food costs and how much food I surprisingly eat.

3. Yes, the professor said no extra credit at the beginning of the year, but maybe...

It doesn't hurt to try for this one because the worst they could say is no or laugh in your face. But professor, isn't there just some tiiiiinnnny way you can raise my 72% to an 89.5%?

Until he/she tells you "no" just like they said in the beginning of class.

4. It's the night before your exam and now you actually realize you need to study.

You don't have much of an option. Remember you said you'd study a week before the exam and be really prepared? Now said exam is less than 24 hours away and you have yet to open your text book.

5. The pre-motivation sets in.

After search end to end of the library you finally find a good enough place to study as you sprawl out your books and laptop, ready to conquer the night.

6. But just as quickly, the motivation leaves.

You're starting to think maybe school just isn't for you. You'll drop out start a business and become a millionaire because hey, you can do it! You don't need finals.

7. It's not 1:32 am and the library is starting to empty out.

You decide to stay and crank it out. The next thing you know you look up and realize the room that was once full is now just you and some other person who is asleep on the table across the room.

8. Time to reward yourself.

You realize how late it is and from all your studying tonight, you decide it's time to reward yourself with a good night's rest....well, let's be honest, it is more of a nap at this point, but you'll take every minute you can get.

Good luck with finals everyone!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
