Taylor Had A Point When She Told Us To 'Shake It Off'

Don't let the haters bother you.

Girls can be mean. Really mean.

A lot of the time, they are mean for no reason at all. I don't always agree with Taylor Swift, but every now and then, I do. Sometimes you need to be like Taylor and just Shake It Off. Shake off the haters. People are going to talk. People are going to say really mean things, but you shouldn't listen to them. You should just let it slide and not let it bother you.

Sometimes people won't like you. Sometimes people will hate you. Sometimes people will be really mean. That's, unfortunately, just a part of life. That is just something that everybody has to deal with. Those people, the ones that hate you or don't like you, should not bother you though.

They don't deserve your time. They definitely do not deserve to ruin your day, week, year, or life. Shake them off and do not let them bother you. Do not even give them a second of your time. They are not worth it.

No matter what you do or what you say, somebody is going to have a problem with it. Somebody is always going to have a problem with you. There is no way to make everybody happy, so do what you want. Do what makes YOU happy, and then shake off whatever everybody else has to say.

The only people you should even give attention to are the ones that lift you up and make you be the best you. Why should the opinions of other people matter if you are happy? They shouldn't. So go out and do you. Be happy with you.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
