The Lope Is Leaping, The Havoc is Cheering, And It's Lopes Up For The Last Time
Lopes Up and Lopes Out!
With graduation just around the corner, I have been thinking a lot about my time here at GCU. I have truly enjoyed my four years here, even with the ups and downs and crazy moments. I couldn't be happier with my choice of going here. I have learned and experienced so many things during my time at GCU. I couldn't have asked for a better college experience. I will forever be proud to be a Lope!
No matter how many people crack jokes or rag on GCU, it really is a great place to be. I've had some crazy things happen during my time here, from crazy roommates to GCU getting rid of my major. Yet even through all of those crazy moments, I am still truly blessed by this school. I have made my life-long friends here, this school is where I met my best friend and I couldn't be more thankful for that. ON top of all of that, I have had some truly amazing professors, who have become great friends and mentors that I have been able to come alongside and work with.
GCU has been such a wonderful place to grow and learn who I really am and enjoying the passions that I have. From writing to worship, I have gained so much experience throughout my time here. I admire all of the people that I have met and come in contact with throughout my college experience. I have definitely learned something from all of these encounters. No matter how much I have loved and enjoyed my time here, and how much I will miss it, I am excited to move on.
College is an amazing time in your life, but I am ready to see and experience what comes next. God knows the plan that is set forth for my life and I am really excited to see where that leads me. I'm stepping out into the real world and becoming a true adult and it is a little scary, but it is also really exciting!
I will always be grateful for the time that I have spent at GCU and no matter where I go, I will always be a Lope. I could not be more thankful for GCU and all that they have brought into my life. My friends, my education and my job are all things that I truly appreciate to have gained from coming to this school. I am sad to not be a student, but I am excited to continue on and see what is next. Thank you GCU for all that you have done for me and even if we make fun of it sometimes, thank you for helping me find my purpose! I am forever grateful for this school and the experiences it has brought me. I couldn't be more proud to be a Grand Canyon University Class of 2019 graduating senior! So thanks GCU and Lopes Up and Lope Out!
