The Best Songs From 'Sweetener' Ranked

Every Ariana Grande song is great in their own way!

I am a huuuuge Ariana Grande fan so you already know I had her newest album preordered since the first preorder date hit iTunes! Her new album has raised some eyebrows and shown the world what her last year in hiding consisted of. This incredibly strong woman went through the Manchester attack, a toxic relationship, and all while she was expected to be a role model for the world to look up to. She did just that when she released some of the most influential tracks of her career!

1. "breathin"

This song is about that feeling when you're so overwhelmed you can't even breathe. It's incredible how vulnerable she is in this song and not to mention, ISSA BOP!

2. "God is a woman"

This song is incredible because it embraces a woman's sexuality and complements women on their abilities reproductively. Women carry and give birth to the population and it's incredible, hence the title.

3. "no tears left to cry"

This is the song she wrote in response to the Manchester Attack that happened over a year ago. She wrote this positive and uplifting song to show the world positivity even through the worst times in our lives and it truly inspires me. The strength she must have is incredible.

4. "R.E.M"

This song was originally sung by Beyonce, just putting that there.

5. "raindrops (an angel cried)"

Probably the prettiest intro she's done in a while!

6. "the light is coming"

These last three songs are at the bottom of this list not because they're bad songs, but when listening to the album as a whole, these three seem the least cohesive on the album as a whole. I feel like this album is mostly about self-care and is full of the slow-bumping positive vibes kind of music that isn't too "in your face." These last three feel like waaay too much compared to the overall vibe of the album!

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.
