The cast was officially announced last week and the Survivor community was ecstatic about this cast and I have to say I don't blame them. I think this might be the best cast there has ever been on Survivor. The season is so close but yet so far away. I orginally planned on doing about two of these a week but school got in the way and adjustments had to be made. Back in the grind though so lets take a look at our first Returnee of the day.

Andrea Boehlke from Survivor: Redemption Island and Survivor: Caramoan

Andrea is one of the people in this cast that is a huge threat this season and has extreme winners upside. The first season she played with Boston Rob and was seen a big threat to his game. She was taken out, but was able to fight her way back in to only be voted out once again. She then returned for Fans vs Favorites II where she always was accused of scheming and plotting too much. She made it to the jury in both seasons. For this season, with the all stars that she is playing with, she needs to find a happy medium in between these two styles of game play. She needs to make alliances with everyone, but also be under the radar. She has an excellent social game and that will be easy for her to slide by. With big targets on her tribe such as JT, Cirie, and Ozzy, I think she will be able to do this easy. She will really start playing hard when the merge hits and I fully believe she could be in it right to Final Tribal Council. In fact, I will go as far to say that I think she will be the winner of the season.

Prediction: Merge

Caleb Reynolds from Big Brother 16 and Survivor: Kaoh Rong

Caleb is another interesting person to have on this season. The only real reason is that he almost died on his previous season and he was on Big Brother. For some reason, CBS really likes him. In Kaoh Rong, we never really saw much of his game play because he was only there for a few episodes. However, he had great working relationship with Tai, who is on the opposite tribe this time. He was an absolute challenge beast as well. However, he gives me a very merge boot vibe just like Ozzy does. The other thing that he has working against him is that he is a part of the Kaoh Rong 4. They may not have an alliance, but stil that is something to look out for. Plus, I would think that people would be way more worried about Sandra and Tony on his tribe than anyone else. Caleb should make it to the merge and he could be the merge boot or a possible GOAT.

Prediction: Merge

Ciera Eastin from Survivor: Blood vs Water and Survivor: Cambodia

If anyone is known as a Game Changer, it has to be Ciera. Not only did she vote out her Mom, but she was one of the only people in Survivor history to be willing to go to drawing rocks. Ciera is one of my favorites to ever play because she is so willing to risk it all to advance herself further. In Cambodia, she did try to be a little to aggressive and she is going to have to tone that down, especially if you are sharing a beach with Tony Vlachos. Ciera is a smart girl though and she can make these adjustments. She should align with people that are bigger threats than her and then see if she cant make it look like they are the ones calling the shots. Her challenge performance scares me a little, but she will fight through. She could benefit greatly from an Idol. If she can figure out how to play in the middle, than I like her chances of getting to the merge.

Prediction: Merge

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
