Video games have been a hobby of mine ever since I was a kid, and they've always been an important part of my life. Whenever I play a game, I am transported into a colorful world that expands the possibilities of reality. Featuring unique characters with super powers and incredible weapons, I venture into places where anything can happen. Playing a game makes me feel like I've stumbled onto a wonderful secret, and I always have fun conquering a quest to obtain the latest gadget. I've enjoyed numerous games in my life, and one entry that's always stuck with me is Nintendo's famed Super Smash Bros. series.

Its unusual gameplay brings a new dimension to fighting games. Combos are created on the spot by stringing together a variety of moves in a quick fashion, and they can vary over time. The loose nature of the series gives a lot of freedom for attacking your opponents, and the damage is based on percentages. Players rack up their opponents' damage to a high enough percentage, then they hit them with a strong attack that sends them off the screen. The style of Super Smash Bros. allows for a surprising amount of exploration within a match, and I never know what will happen next. Super Smash Bros. brings unpredictability to fighting games, and its flexibility allows for a spontaneous atmosphere.

Super Smash Bros. is also a love letter to Nintendo. The series puts in an extreme amount of references to various games, and it features ample representation from old and new entries. Themes and entire stages are taken from numerous parts of Nintendo's repertoire, and the characters utilize moves from specific games. Established franchises such as Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda are represented alongside obscure efforts such as EarthBound and Kid Icarus, and collectible trophies give information about various aspects of Nintendo. Super Smash Bros. makes very subtle references that only longtime fans will catch, and it lets older gamers relive their childhoods. Super Smash Bros. turns into a history of Nintendo, and it shows how the company has evolved over time.

The series also provides numerous memories. In every installment, I can create amazing experiences that bring joy to my day. The format of Super Smash Bros. allows for amazing KO's and surprising moments, as well as sudden events that can turn the tide of an entire match. Playing the famed multi-player mode allows me to share the fun with my peers, and I never tire of participating in wacky matches. Super Smash Bros. is frenetic in the best way possible, and it has a surprising amount of depth that unveils itself with every session. Super Smash Bros. lets people connect with each other, and the madness that occurs is always entertaining for me.

In conclusion, Super Smash Bros. sums up why I like video games so much. Its unique style brings innovative elements to fighting games, and it turns the series into an occasion where nothing is certain. Super Smash Bros. is also a tribute to Nintendo, as its treasure trove of references demonstrates a genuine love for video games. Super Smash Bros. brings famous and overlooked franchises together, and it is a place for creating memorable events in your life. Super Smash Bros. is a fantastic series, and it will continue to entertain me for years to come.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
