Imagine being outside early enough in the morning to watch a sunrise and see the beautiful picture on the canvas. Then after you see the sunrise you get up and start getting ready to take on the day that is a busy schedule. Now imagine yourself in a hurry and see how easily things are missed when you rush. This is a story of how people can get so busy that they may miss the beautiful sunrise or sunset on that canvas that was created. Life may get busy and we have things we need to do, but how often do we get in a hurry and miss the simple things that really matter and the true beauty in the picture.

Brittney gets up early every morning to see the sunrise and often misses the sunset for she is a working single mother of three teenage boys that are all involved in sports. She is also the owner of a bridal shop in her hometown and works late when she is not at their games in the fall. Every night Brittney sits down with her boys and they have a family bible study and sometimes she host bible studies at her shop. Her brother Ken is a preacher and he has helped his sister bring many lives to Christ through her bridal shop and just through family bible studies that she has with her boys; and their friends. Her schedule consists of watching the sunrise, getting the three boys up for school, making them breakfast, going to the salon and taking inventory, helping brides all the day long tries on dresses, then she goes into the computers and makes sure everything is in its place and then she goes to the games of her three sons and then fixes supper have family bible study and then gets the boys ready for bed. Fast forward two years and her life she thought were chaotic just became more stressful for she gets so busy with her bridal shop that she forgets to sit down and just see the true beauty of the sun-rise.

Deuteronomy 4:19 (NIV) And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars-all of the heavenly array-do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshipping things the Lord your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven.

David is a young college student who needs a lot of encouragement. He loves to watch the sunset and working out in the gym. His schedule is three English classes, two math classes, a science class, and a bible class and he juggles it all while holding down a job at night and works out during the day in between classes. Most college students are busy studying and relaxing, however not David. He studies while at work and he has missed the sunsets. David works very hard and would like to be able to relax and see God's true beauty for what it really is on that canvas in the picture of the sunset, however, he gets so overwhelmed that it makes it hard to see that painted picture on God's canvas in the sky.

He starts thinking about joining a home congregation and about getting baptized, however, he is unsure how he will be able to fit it into his already busy schedule and he will learn what is truly important when the time is right and see that beautiful canvas.

1st Kings 20:40(King James Version) And as thy servant was busy here and there, he was gone. And the king of Israel said unto him, So shall thy judgment be; thyself hast decided it.

Clarissa is a young fifteen-year-old girl who lives at a children's home and is very curious about God and what he has done. Her parents placed her in Hope Children's Home for they wanted her to be able to have Hope and Faith and a steady home environment. She was a very beautiful young girl who was a cheerleader for the high school. Her parents were not religious people and they wanted her to be placed in a home where they would teach her God's word and let her see the sunrise and sunset that God has created for the first time in her life. Her house-parents started studying with her and she made the decision to be baptized and started seeing things like a picture with pieces that are meant to be put together. After studying with her counselor, house-parents, friends and the chaplain and was baptized into Christ.Clarissa also lived a busy life for she was always on the road with all of the sports teams and at cheer drill meets and she was being shown the light for the first time in her life and found her Hope and Faith at Hope Children's Home and she started to continuing studying with her house-parents and then actually started watching the sun rises in the mornings and sunsets in the evenings.

Ecclesiastes 1:13 (NIV) I devoted myself to study and to explore by wisdom all that is done under heaven. What a heavy burden God has laid on men!

James and Katie were twins and they both were CEOS of major companies and they also lived busy lives' but tried to make God part of their family as much as possible. Katie was working, married and expecting her first child and James had a wife and two daughters and twice a week the twins would get together to talk about recent events and updates on each other. Being that they were both CEOS of major companies they would often be working into the latest nights and earliest mornings missing the sunrise and sunset. They wanted both of their families to be focused on Christ as their centerpiece and found it rather difficult due to the numerous meetings and events they would usually attend, however, both James and Katie found time to have bible studies and be able to go to church as much as possible although being very busy with their work and family lives. Both Twins loved working together and being together and spending time with Katie's husband and she loved spending the time with her brother, his wife, and their two daughters. The twins were also working on developing a youth camp for at-risk children and providing them with opportunities that were not usually provided for them.

These five people have never met each other with the exception of the twins James and Katie. They were all brought together to one location out in the country to watch a sunset with one another and will be camping out. During that time, they all met each other and were confused on what was going on.Brittney's Brother Ken helped set it up to where all five of them could be together to watch a sunset reminding them that though life gets busy to try to make time for God. Sit back and watch the Sunset and look at the beautiful picture God has created on his canvas. Brittney, David, Clarissa, James, and Katie have never met, but they all lived such busy lives that they were so wrapped up in the world and in their lives that it meant sacrificing spending that extra time with God. The five people all met each other and camped out with the exception of Katie who was six months pregnant who was in the camper trailer. They all watched the sunset together and then they created a camp-fire and had a devotional led by Ken around he fire. That next morning the five individuals came together to watch the most beautiful sunrise that they have seen in a long time and each one of them was reminded that though life gets busy and life can be full of many things make time to spend with God the Father. Watch a Sunrise and a Sunset and see the true the beauty of the Creator who paints the picture on his canvas so that his children may enjoy it. These five people were strangers to one another who were brought together by a sunset and a sun-rise and they all remained in touch with one another and realized that though they may live busy and chaotic lives that they may need to slow down and not be in such a hurry to truly see the true beauty that was created. In our Christian lives we also get so busy that we may not see the sun-rise or sunset, however, we should try to make time for God no matter how busy our lives may be. When we get in a hurry we may not see the beauty behind the sunrise or sunset painted on His Canvas and when rushed may miss out on the simple things that really matter the most in our lives so take the time to slow down.

Psalm 46:10 (KJV) Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Psalm 46:10 (NIV) Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

Sunrise to Sunset Reminds us to slow own and remember that God is in control. Watch a sunrise in the morning or a sunset in the evening and be reminded of the true beauty that lies in GOD's canvas and also that though we may all live busy lives don't leave HIM out for God is the one who made the beautiful sunrise and the sunset. When people get in a hurry they forget about the simple things and Sunrise to Sunset reminds us that we may need to slow down. Five people who didn't know each other left their businesses behind for one night to watch a sunset with strangers who then became friends and watched a sunset as a reminder that though life may be busy sometimes we may need to be reminded to slow down and see the simple things like a sunset in the evening or a sunrise in the morning. Are you making time for God? A-men

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
