Summer is here, and that means you need that perfect summer soundtrack. Here are some of my favorite feel-good songs that could make your summer awesome!

1. Alive – Empire of the Sun: I mean, it's summer so you're loving every minute 'cause it makes you feel so alive!

2. And We Danced – Macklemore and Ryan Lewis: Great memories go with this song, from hearing it at parties to blasting it in your car. You can never go wrong when singing along to this with some of your very best friends. Plus, the hilarious lyrics will surely brighten your day. 

3. Beware the Dog – The Griswolds: If you're on your way to beach, this is the perfect song. It has that “summer” sound and is easy to enjoy!

4. The City – 1975: This is an awesome laid-back rock out song when the summer sun is out and ready to play. 

5. Corona and Lime – Shwayze: An obvious classic to play during the summer time, but you can’t help yourself from sipping on Coronas (or any other beverage) and relaxing by the pool. 

6. Cudi Zone – Kid Cudi: With such a positive and “IDGAF” vibe, this song is great to play when you're tired and in need of a good pick-me-up. The chorus is so catchy that you will be belting it out after the first time you hear it. 

7. Dreaming – Small Pools: Super catchy so you can't help to jam to this song while tanning. This is one of the only songs you can jokingly sing along to and not sound tone deaf. 

8. Elevate – St. Lucia: Listening to his sweet voice makes driving that much more pleasurable. Surely produces chill vibes! 

9. Float – Pacific Air: If you ever feel like vibing out, this song is beyond perfect. The vocals are soft and the lyrics are kind of adorable.

10. Golden – Parade of Lights: This is another one of those songs you can just have fun to. Play this during a pool party or day fade and you'll have a good time and even better memories. 

11. If I Lose Myself – One Republic: If you ever feel down about your significant other, just listen to this and remember all the good times you’ve both shared. This is also good to reminisce about past summers! 

12. Latch – Disclosure ft. Sam Smith: Of course this is on my playlist! Whether you listen to this during a party, pool day or just relaxing, you can't help but to sing along. This song is beyond perfect for any day. I mean, who wouldn't want Sam Smith latching on to them? 

13. Like the Way – Aer: Any Aer song is great for a kickback or dayfades with your friends. This song will create the chill and peaceful vibes you're looking for.

14. No Faith in Brooklyn – Hoodie Allen ft. Jhameel: This song is a driving anthem that is made better with all of your friends packed in the car with you. 

15. Other People – Beach House: The soft music and flowing lyrics make it easy to enjoy this song on a hot day. It's great to listen to when you have had an off day! 

16. Side of the Road – Big Black Delta: Though this is kind of a weird song, it's fun to listen to when you're in need of a nice calming moment of peace. 

17. Sleeping with a Friend – Neon Trees: This song will (hopefully) solve all of your love troubles for the summer! It's easily understandable and offers great advice about sleeping with friends. 

18. Sleepyhead – Passion Pit: If you love a strong drum beat and crazy cool vocals like me, you'll absolutely love this song. It's great to turn up really loud and bump in your car.

19. Soft – Washed Out: Literally any song by Washed Out is great to listen to in the summer, but this one makes you imagine that you're living on a beach in California with the “perfect” summer life. It also sounds like it should be in a love scene in the next movie production based on a Nicholas Sparks book and makes you question your (possibly non-existent) love life. 

20.The Truth – Foster the People: This song makes you think about life and everything it has to offer. The range of the lead singer, Mark Foster, produces will give you goose bumps. Definitely play this during a nap or a tough day!
