My Summer 2018 Playlist

Some top songs that I'll be jamming out to with my volume on full blast and my windows down this summer.

I've lost count of how many times I have been asked, "What's your favorite song?" This question is always extremely hard for me to answer because it feels like I change my mind every other week. Even though I can't pick my ONE favorite song of all time, I've attempted to compose a list of some songs on my Summer 2018 playlist that I just seem to keep repeating. These are the songs I blare through my Kia Soul's speakers when I'm driving down the road and having a pretty great day.

1.) "I'm Not Famous" - AJR

AJR is currently my top favorite band. Many of their songs have a great beat and I just have to blast them in the car with the windows down some days.


2.) "Wait" - Maroon 5

Maroon 5 is a 20/10 in my book of band rankings.


3.) "Don't Threaten Me With A Good Time" - Panic! At The Disco

I am just now discovering modern Panic! At the Disco. I used to listen to them when "Nine In The Afternoon" was on Rockband, but I fell out for a couple years. They've got some pretty sick jams here recently that led me back on their musical pathway.


4.) "The Middle" - Zedd

Just about every time I Google the lyrics of a song that I really like, it is a song by Zedd.


5.) "OK" - Robin Schulz featuring James Blunt


6.) "Say Amen (Saturday Night)" - Panic! At The Disco

7.) Any Song on "The Greatest Showman" Soundtrack

"The Greatest Showman" is undoubtedly my favorite movie to ever exist. This is just the first song on the soundtrack, which is great, but you should listen to the rest of the album too.


8.) "Thunder" - Imagine Dragons

9.) "Three-Thirty" - AJR

10.) "Redbone" - Childish Gambino

11.) "TGIF" - Katy Perry

12.) Any Song on the "Hamilton" Soundtrack

What. A. Bop. Seriously - the "Hamilton" soundtrack is something that I can get down to no matter what mood I'm feeling. Rapping about America's founding fathers? Uh, yes, press play on that and crank up the volume.

To be honest, this new version of "Burn" is pretty rad and you should definitely take a listen to it.


13.) "Classic" - MKTO

I was looking for this song for the longest time and recently found it. I think it is amazing.

I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment.
