I've already watched so many Netflix shows and movies this summer and I can't get enough of them! So, I thought: why not share them with everyone else? Then we could all be on the same emotional spiral that these shows give! Most shows that Netflix or Hulu have on their sites are from actual TV channels like Fox or ABC, but sometimes they have some good ones of their own.

1. “Dynasty” — The CW (on Netflix)

I've always been a big Elizabeth Gillies fan, so when I heard she was going in the reboot of “Dynasty” on the CW, I had to watch it and, man, was I hooked! Season 1 is out now on Netflix and season 2 is right around the corner! It's the perfect binge-worthy drama with enough deceit, scandal, and family drama for everyone!

2. “Crazy Ex Girlfriend” — The CW (on Netflix)

The CW has been making great shows for a while, but Rachel Bloom's series “Crazy Ex Girlfriend” is one of their lesser known comedies. The show follows the life of an average Jewish-American lawyer who imagines important moments in life as a song. It's musical styled and has plenty of familiar faces from comedy, stages, and screens! Seasons 1-3 are now on Netflix and the final season will be online soon, too!

3. “Queer Eye” — Netflix

Netflix decided that 2018 was the time to reboot the classic reality tv show “Queer Eye” and they were absolutely right! The show follows five gay men changing the lives of straight men for the better, whether it's food, style, or habit. It's both funny and heartwarming because it shows equality and happiness in all people once you let a little love and accepted into your life. Seasons 1 and 2 are now on Netflix, so get to watching!

4. “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” — Netflix

“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” has always been one of the more lighthearted shows on Netflix. It follows a girl saved from a cult bunker as she tries to survive in New York City. What could go wrong? Seasons 1-4 are now on Netflix if you want to laugh!

5. “Black Mirror” — Netflix

Do you like dark, twisted TV shows? Do you like sci-fi? Then “Black Mirror” is definitely the show for you. The series follows different people in different universes each episode to show how technology can be a good and bad part of our lives, using real and attainable situations in every day lives. Seasons 1-4 are on Netflix now!

“That 70's Show” — Fox (on Netflix)

If you want retro comedy, watch “That 70's Show.” It's got love, humor, and friendship all rolled into one comedy show from the late 90s. It'll keep you laughing and entertained for 8 whole seasons. You won't want to stop watching it!

7. “Bob's Burgers” — Fox (on Hulu)

I've never really been a fan of animated TV shows for adults, but “Bob's Burgers” is not too crass nor is it too corny. It's a happy medium of both as it follows the lives of a middle-class family struggling to keep their burger restaurant alive in the Wharf town they live in. The series airs on Fox, but Hulu has every season available!

8. “Archer” — FX (on Netflix and Hulu)

H. Jon Benjamin is not only famous for his work in Fox's show “Bob's Burgers,” but also for his voice acting for FX's “Archer.” This is another adult television show, but this one has a tendency to be a little more raunchy than Fox's family comedy. While it is a comedy, it follows Agent Sterling Malory Archer and his life with his mother and coworkers in his agency. It has a full length movie on the way and it's going to be on it's 10th season, so get to watching on Hulu and Netflix!

9. “Drunk History” — Comedy Central (on Hulu)

I'm a big fan of history, so hearing and seeing celebrities retell it is so entertaining to me. What makes it funnier is that Comedy Central gets other celebrities to narrate it while intoxicated in their series “Drunk History.” As of right now, Hulu has five season on its site! Get laughing!

10. “The Good Place” — NBC (on Netflix and Hulu)

NBC's show “The Good Place” is a new NBC comedy with Kristen Bell following her character's life after death. I won't spoil too much for you, but the show takes some wild twists and turns and it had me at the edge of my seat while I was watching it!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
