Stranger Things Season 3 Questions We All Have

You've finished binge watching all of Stranger Things season 3, now you're left with a heavy heart and lots of unanswered questions. Here are some of the most common questions we all have about the finale. Here is your last reminder SPOILERS AHEAD.

Is Hopper Really Dead?

Giphy

The answer is we don't know, but here are some reasons as to why he's probably alive. Watching the final episode, the initial shock of the event makes us overlook the fact that Hopper's body is not found while you can see that the other guards have been disintegrated. Another interesting fact is that the show seems to kill off only characters that start with the letter 'B'. Barb dies in season 1, Bob dies in season 2, and Billy dies in season 3. Hopper starts with an H so therefore throws off that pattern making it seem very unlikely he's gone.

The Theory is, Hopper jumped through the closing gate to save his life, but causing him to be trapped in the upside down. Another theory is that the "American" the Russians refer to in the season finale post credit scene is Hopper. When Hopper goes to the upside down, he makes his way to the Russian gate and there gets kidnapped. Either way Hopper has got to be alive!

Where Did El's Powers Go?

Giphy Nobody really knows the answer, but one thing's for sure, it has something to do with the Mind Flayer. When Eleven was attacked, a piece of the Mind Flayer ended up in her leg until the painful scene where Eleven and the rest of the kids attempt minor surgery to help get it out of her. It is quite possible that the part of the Mind Flayer that was in her used her powers as a source of strength eventually weakening her powers until they went dormant. The Mind Flayer is clever and knew that El was the only person that could defeat it, so it is very possible that the wound inflicted on El due to the Mind Flayer's attack was part of a bigger plan to destroy her once and for all. Eleven was without powers and essentially helpless when facing the Mind Flayer until Billy sacrificed himself to give El more time so she could live.

There is no guarantee Eleven will get her powers back, but it just goes to show that Eleven is a very powerful character both with and without her powers. It'll be interesting to see what the Duffer brothers do with that critical plot point in the next season.

When Will Stranger Things Return?

Giphy

Stranger Things 4 will most likely return around Christmas of 2020. At the end of the Season 3 finale Eleven tells Mike that hopefully her and the rest of the byer family will come visit during Christmas. Since Stranger Things has had a recent trend of airing around holiday seasons it only makes sense that season 4 would air in December around Christmas considering Eleven said hopefully she would visit Mike around Christmas. Stranger Things hasn't been renewed for a new season quit yet, but there is no doubt in my mind that it will be renewed. Stranger Things is such a fan favorite, they can't just leave everything hanging and end on the tear jerker that was the season 3 finale.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
