Stop Fearing, Start Living

There isn't a more perfect time to live than the present.

Stop Fearing, Start Living
Emily Kaye

Why do we always let fear stand in the way? It serves as an obstacle for our happiness and well being. This describes the consistent fear of living. Living our lives to the fullest without apology or regret.

Fear can come in many forms…

Fear we aren't good enough.

Fear of failure.

Fear of losing the ones we love.

Fear of letting go.

Fear of fitting in.

Fear of wanting more.

The only solution I have found is living for you and being unapologetically yourself. No one can define who you are and choose your happiness. The way you mold and shape your life comes from within.

It took losing a close friend to finally realize the importance of just living. We are consistently on a timeless pursuit for fulfillment. This seems counterintuitive when fulfillment actually stems from within. YOU decide how you live.

So don't be complacent when you can be brave and take a leap of faith.

Drop the what ifs and the doubts and do what you have been itching to do.

Chase your passions that light your soul on fire.

Put on a brave cape and dive out of your comfort zone into the unfamiliar.

Hold on tight to the people and things you love.

Let go of your expectations and be bold.

Eat that extra cookie, get a tattoo, go skydiving.

Just live.

There isn't a more perfect time to live than the present.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
