Everyone makes at least one New Year's resolution, but who actually sticks to them? We all want to stay true to our resolution; that's why we made them in the first place, right?
Well, how do we make that actually happen?
Here is a list of five simple things you can do to make sure you stay on the right path to accomplishing your resolution.
1. Make goals that you can actually accomplish.
Everyone has those unrealistic goals, which are great to have, but you should really have some that you know you will actually be able to do.
2. Have a realistic amount.
Don't make too many resolutions. When you have too many, it is often hard to keep track of them all, and you'll be less likely to stay on top of them. The fewer the better.
3.Make a list of your resolutions and put it in a place you will see every morning.
This one is super important because it will be a constant reminder of what you promised yourself you would do.
4. Reward yourself.
Tie your resolution in with rewards. Challenges are so much better when there is a reward at the finish line. You should celebrate your accomplishment!
5. Complete it in small increments of time.
Your resolution should take you no longer than one hour a day. If it is longer than an hour, you're more than likely not going to do it. Keep it short and simple and you will actually be able to motivate yourself to do it.
