Starbucks: It's probably one of the most loved places on every college campus...kind of. Not everyone likes coffee, and the thought of a pumpkin spice latte just makes some people feel sick (heck, I like coffee and hate the pumpkin spice latte, but that's another story).

Still, Starbucks is a great on-the-go choice for the busy college student (as long as you don't spend all of your money on it).

If you don't drink coffee, try these non-coffee alternatives at Starbucks. Some have caffeine and some don't, but they're all delicious! Now you can see if the hype is worth it (it is).

1. Hot chocolate.

I can't forget a classic! Starbucks has amazing hot chocolate, and it's honestly the best thing to have on a cold day. To make things better, they serve hot chocolate in a variety of flavors.

2. Caramel apple spice juice.

Instagram

This is BY FAR my favorite drink at Starbucks, and I'm a coffee drinker. It's like apple cider but better. Trust me on this one. You won't regret it.

3. Pink Drink.

Instagram

James Charles apparently made this famous. I heard it's good. It's basically the same thing as the Strawberry Acai Refresher, but it has coconut milk to make it look pretty (and taste a little more tropical).

4. Vanilla Bean Frappuccino.

When I was a kid, my mom would get me one of these whenever we went to the store together. It doesn't have coffee and it tastes like a fancy milkshake!

5. Starbucks Refreshers.

Instagram

I LOVE these in the summer! They're actually refreshing like the name says, and they contain less caffeine than coffee. My favorite is the Very Berry Hibiscus Starbucks Refresher.

6. Shaken iced green tea.

Instagram

Green tea (especially iced) is my favorite type of tea. When it's infused with lemonade, it's even better. You can order it with a lot of sweetener if you're not a fan of plain green tea. It has some caffeine too!

7. Smoothies.

Instagram

Starbucks actually has pretty good smoothies. Personally, I like the strawberry banana smoothies. I'm pretty sure they're not completely natural (don't expect the fruit to be blended right in front of you), but it's a nice and sweet drink on the go.

8. Coffee.

Instagram

You can become a coffee person. Just add as much extra flavor as you want. If you want to try this, get a Triple Mocha Frappuccino with extra flavor, extra chocolate drizzle, and extra whipped cream. You can always add sugar. Come on, it's like a milkshake!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
