Let's face it, college has its highs and lows, including exam season. You can study well, or not so well, so here are ten stages of those late night study sessions.

1. The Healthy Snack Stage

So you have a freshly cut apple and a cool glass of water. You haven't even glanced at your review yet, but you are feeling confident since you are feeling so healthy and prepared at whatever this exam could throw at you.

2. The Browse The Review Stage

Every college students worst nightmare, you get crack open your review, or worse, you do not even have a review, and every question listed is like a foreign language. What class am I even studying for?

3. The Stress Out Stage

Alrighty, so you may not have recognized any of the material on your review, but there is a giant bucket of candy straight in the path of your eyes and you heard Becky went to the grocery store to stock up on snacks. So, you decide to break out the stress food and overeat way too many miniature candy bars.

4. The "What Have I Done" Stage

You look at the the clock, its 12:35 and all you have managed to do is attempt to be healthy and then crack from the pressure. Instead, you're body is probably a little shaky from the sugar rush of all that candy you just consumed and your blood has basically turned into a coffee stream.

5. The Frustration Stage

Against your best attempts, you're currently hyped up on sugar and any attempt to focus has been diminished. You're frustrated, and now you are just so overwhelmed that your plan has back fired.

6. The Nun Stage

This stage is by far the epitome of studying for a big exam. All of your previous methods have not worked, so instead you opt for your warmest blanket. When people walk by they will ask why you look like a Nun, but in reality this is just a coping mechanism for your stress.

7. The Take Some Deep Breaths Stage

So, you've made it this far, technically you've haven't given up on studying yet, and really the night is just getting started. You glance at the clock and another hour has passed due to your nunnery and frustration. You force yourself to take a few deep breaths and convince yourself it will all be okay.

8. The Review Take Two Stage

Alright, so now that you've had some time to let your exam review sink in, you force yourself to go through and answer questions to your best ability. Looks like you're on a roll!

9. The Exhaustion Stage

Whoops, we spoke to soon! The clock mocks you with its obtrusive bright red numbers at how late your night is getting that you may as well call it an early start to your day. Your brain has turned to mush and you decide to take a nap for a few hours.

10. The Next Morning Stage

Its 6:00 A.M., you seem to have fallen asleep for three and a half hours, so try not to fall asleep during your exam. You cram in a couple last minute formulas and terms as you rush of with a Scantron and #2 pencil to your exam.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
