This past Tuesday, I got to go see the Bleachers perform live in Portland. It was an awesome experience, dancing with my friends, seeing one of my favorite bands perform live, and just enjoying the moment. But, there's a huge process of being at the concert. Here are 17 stages of the concert experience.
1. Waiting for the day to end so you can get ready.
It is a well know fact that time passes really slowly on concert days.
2. Getting ready for the concert.
Getting ready for the concert is fun because you get to look hot AND get hyped at the same time.
3. Driving to the concert.
Whether it's an hour drive for five minutes away, you and your crew are bound to get hyped via listening to the band you're about to see and screaming with excitement.
4. Getting something to eat before the concert.
Something quick and something good.
5. Standing in line waiting for the doors to open.
You either want to get there super early so you can be the closest to the band or you're wrong.
6. Finally being let into the venue.
7. Waiting for the concert to start.
8. Wishing you had worn more comfortable shoes.
The price we pay to look stunning.
9. Watching the opener play.
You're just hoping they'll be good.
10. Watching the crew set up your band's stuff.
11. WATCHING YOUR BAND PLAY.
12. Singing/Screaming your lungs out and dancing as hard as you can.
13. Realizing how much you're sweating.
You're praying you don't smell as bad as you feel like you do.
14. Buying Merch when the concert is over.
15. Realizing how dehydrated you are as you leave.
16. Seeing your reflection for the first time after the concert.
17. Experiencing The Post Concert Depression.
Because you really can't wait until you can go see them live in concert again.
