I recently bought Spotify Premium, and I got it half off for $5 a month because of a student discount, so I feel like I didn’t spend too much. Plus, I got a free Hulu subscription, so there’s that.
But was buying Premium worth it? Oh yes it was. Listening to music without ads, listening at extremely good quality, playing any song I want on my phone, not having to worry about skips, all for only 5 bucks a month was a huge relief. Every time you have that one song stuck in your head, or you really want to show a friend a certain song, you can do it now using Spotify, without having to leave it up to the chance of shuffle play.
But the best feature about Spotify Premium? Downloading songs. I have literally downloaded 5 gigabytes worth of songs at extreme quality (about 600 songs), so I don’t even have to use data or wifi to play my songs. I can listen wherever and whenever, even if there is no service. On a mountain, on an airplane, on vacation in a rural area, wherever you go, you have your music downloaded and ready to play.
So, for sure, in the two weeks I have harbored Spotify Premium, I can already say it was worth it.
